Joanna Burt brings an impressive background to her studio, with over 30 years of dancing experience and 17 years of dedicated teaching in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. As a proud graduate of AMDA: College and Conservatory for the Performing Arts, holds a bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre and Performing, equipping her with a rich foundation in the performing arts. Throughout her career, Joanna has graced the stage in a variety of productions including iconic shows like Cabaret, Cinderella, Fiddler On The Roof, Grease,  Hairspray, Pippin, Into The Woods, and The Wiz. She has also made her mark as a prominent choreographer in numerous musical productions such as Legally Blonde, Guys and Dolls, Cinderella, Orange is the New Musical, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, West Side Story, The Wizard of Oz and Annie. Most recently, Joanna showcased her exceptional skills as the director and choreographer of an-award winning competition team from the South Bay, earning the prestigious title of “Teacher of the Weekend” by the LA Dance Magic faculty at their Anaheim regional competition 2025. She has earned countless choreography awards and proudly watch her pieces win top awards and judge's choice awards. Joanna is deeply passionate about sharing the magic of dance with her students, and she is mindful of the significant influence that all teachers have in their lives She honors this responsibility wholeheartedly, creating an inspiring and nurturing environment for every dancer who walks through her doors.
